What the work taught me
The tools only help after you see the work.
I have spent the last couple of decades in digital marketing, Web3 gaming, and my own projects, leveraging new tech and tools as they launched. The industries changed. The mess did not.
The pattern was always the same. The real knowledge lived in inboxes, spreadsheets, shared drives, and the heads of a few people who could not take a week off. Every handoff cost time. Every repeat question pulled someone back into work they had already done.
When usable AI showed up, I did not start with a grand plan. I tested it on real work. Hundreds of hours of messy experiments made one thing obvious. AI is only as good as the process around it. Point it at a broken workflow and you just get the wrong thing done faster.
That is how I work now. Map the work first. Simplify the path. Automate only what deserves to run. The point is not more software. It is giving time back to the person who has to run the business.
